LARC489N: Sustainable Transformation and Adaptation; Culture and Earth (Global Classroom Winter 2022)

If any of you are looking for a winter session course...

I want to draw your attention to an exciting course this winter term open to all majors and all class levels.  Larc489N, Sustainable Transformation and Adaptation; Culture and Earth, is once again being offered as a global classroom virtual study abroad course.  It will meet M-Th, Jan 3-22, 2022.  We will be investigating sustainability as it relates to both natural and cultural systems.  There will be guest speakers from Nelson, Byrd, Woltz to present their Orango Station Restoration Master Plan as well as experts from the Treaty of Waitangi Grounds, and the Bungee Jumping Museum.  New Zealand is a fascinating and beautiful country that helps in our understanding of how to move forward as we deal with cultural and natural system sustainability.  Attached is a flier that includes the schedule and a link for you to register.  Thanks, and see you virtually in New Zealand this winter term!
