Student Sustainability Summit

We are excited to announce the second annual Student Sustainability Summit, which is a free student-led conference with themes based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals seeking to provide an equitable opportunity for people of any background, field, or educational level to learn more about sustainability. Our conference will consist of talks from around 20 distinguished speakers from various fields and disciplines all relating to sustainability, as well as student abstract presentations. We would really appreciate receiving abstracts for presentations related to sustainability from students at UMD.

The Career Expo segment of the conference is designed to furnish a relaxed environment facilitating networking with a range of organizations, exploring career and internship prospects, and acquiring additional insights rather than a typical career fair.

Here are more details on how to participate:

  • Share this with your peers and RSVP here to attend.

  • If you’re interested in presenting, submit your abstracts using this form. (Deadline: March 25th, 2024, applications will be reviewed as they are recieved)
