The UMD Students for Guilford Woods campaign is organizing a protest against the deforestation of Guilford Woods on Friday, October 15th at 3:30pm on McKeldin Mall. Although this is a student initiative, all are welcome to attend, including members of the general public. There will be speakers, including Senator Pinsky, and students will deliver their student/alumni petition to President Pines' office.
