Spring 2018 registration appointments are now available

What’s a registration appointment?
This is your assigned date/time in which you are eligible to register for your Spring 2018 classes (THIS IS NOT AN ADVISING APPOINTMENT).

How do I find my registration appointment?
You should be able to find your official registration date/time in Testudo (http://www.testudo.umd.edu/) It’s the first link in the first gray box titled “Registration & Appointment Status.”

You should also find any “Registration Blocks” there. At least one of them will be for academic advising.

REMEMBER: “Registration” appointments are NOT the same thing as “Advising” appointments. Advising comes first! Remember, advising is MANDATORY in ENSP. That means you must make an advising appointment sometime before your Registration Appointment so your advisor can remove your advising block.

Who is my advisor and how do I make an advising appointment?
  • If you HAVE NOT declared a concentration ("Undeclared" in ENSP), then your advisor is me! Please use the appointment scheduler email signature to make an appointment a few weeks before your assigned registration date.
  • If you HAVE declared a concentration, then you should meet with your assigned faculty advisor. Click on your CONCENTRATION to find his/her contact information.
To schedule a meeting with advisor, please send him or her 2-3 different days/times that are good for you to meet, so they can e-mail back to confirm one of them.

When should I make my advising appointment?
Schedule your advising appointment AT LEAST 1-2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE of your registration appointment. Please plan in advance, as their schedules will become packed as we move into “registration season.”
