Mark your calendars! EPA Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA) will host its first Virtual Student Career Fair on February 28, 2022, at 9:00 am – noon and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. (All times are EST). Our student-focused fair will focus on the following topics at the morning and afternoon sessions:
- Welcome – 9:00 am – 9:05 am and 1:00 pm – 1:05 pm
- Exploring OECA Careers and Internship Opportunities - 9:05 am – 9:55 am and 1:05 pm – 1:55 pm
- Learn about OECA offices and the various careers available within OECA. This session will also provide information on the different types of internship opportunities.
- Navigating USAJobs – 10:00 am – 10:50 am and 2:00 pm – 2:50 pm
- Applying for a federal job is unlike applying for a job in private industry. This session provides information on using USAJobs, the federal resume, steps involved in the hiring process as well as other topics of interest to federal job seekers.
- Honing your Resume Writing and Interview Skills – 10:55 am – 11:50 am and 2:55 pm – 3:50 pm
- Obtain tips and information from managers and hiring officials on improving your resumes and interview skills
- Closing – 11:55 am – noon and 3:55 pm – 4:00 pm
