PAID - Two (2) Wildlife Policy Internships - apply by 4/17

The Wildlife Society, Bethesda, MD

The Wildlife Society is currently accepting applications for two paid Wildlife Policy Interns. The positions will run from July 2016-December 2016. This is a great opportunity for a recent wildlife graduate, graduate student, or upperclassman to get engaged with the policy side of wildlife management and conservation.  This internship is a full time, six month, paid position, carrying a stipend of $1800/month.

Our ideal candidates have a strong wildlife education, previous engagement with TWS (student chapter/chapter/conference/etc.), demonstrated leadership and communication skills, and an interest in supporting the wildlife profession in the policy arena. We offer great exposure to a wide-breadth of wildlife policy issues, excellent networking with wildlife professionals across TWS and policy folks in DC, and opportunity to develop writing/communication and collaboration skills. Information on specific duties and qualifications is included here.

More information is available at www.wildlife.org/policy. Contact Keith Norris, Director of Government Affairs and Partnerships, with any questions at keith.norris@wildlife.org.
Applications must be submitted by April 17, 2016.
