US Fish and Wildlife Service - Summer 2021 Directorate Fellows Program - Accepting Applications

American Conservation Experience is working in partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to recruit and manage fellows for the 2021 Directorate Fellows Program (DFP).  DFP was established in 2014 with over 380 participants to date. DFP is a Direct Hire Authority Program. Upon successful completion, along with degree conferral, participants may be directly appointed without competition to USFWS positions.  Over 150 DFP Fellows have been placed in permanent USFWS positions thus far.

The 2021 DFP is an 11-week Fellowship opportunity for 75-100 current rising senior, senior undergraduate or graduate level students.

In order to ensure broad distribution, we ask that you consider sharing this opportunity with students and organizations in your network. Attached is a copy of the 2021 DFP flyer.  The link below provides access to all DFP information including the general announcement and application instructions:  http://usaconservation.org/programs/epic-internship/directorate-resource-assistants-fellows-program-dfp/
