Chesapeake Conservation Corps Application Now Open
Looking to launch your career in the environmental field? Or know a young person who is? Young professionals gain experience, vital green career skills, and a network of connections in the environmental field through the Chesapeake Conservation Corps.
The Chesapeake Conservation Corps is a one-year term of paid service places young adults (ages 18-25) with nonprofits or government agencies to work fulltime in the environmental field. Throughout the year this program provides real-world experience managing projects and programs, leadership and professional development training, mentorship, a support network of young professionals, and other skill-building opportunities including networking and grant writing. Positions offered by host organizations are in the fields of environmental restoration, community engagement, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, energy conservation, and forestry.
Applications for the Corps Program and the Diversity Fellowship must be submitted through the Trust’s
