State program supports up to $10,000 in graduate student research expenses.

Maryland State Science Policy Fellowships -- Due Jan. 22
State program matching highly qualified students with "hosts" in Maryland environmental institutions to advance environmental decision-making and policy development in Maryland; base salary is $40,000 for one year.

NMFS-Sea Grant Joint Fellowship Program -- Due Jan. 26
National program on population and ecosystem dynamics or marine resource economics with grants up to $53,000 per year for three years.

Omnibus RFP 2022-2023 -- Due Jan. 28 (Pre-Proposals)
Competition for Maryland Sea Grant's core research grants; MDSG expects to fund 7–8 two-year projects at about $70,000 per year.

Knauss Marine Policy Fellowships -- Due Feb. 19
National program matches highly qualified graduate students with "hosts" in the U.S. Congress or executive branch of government located in the Washington, D.C. area for a one-year paid fellowship.

Research Experience for Undergraduates -- Due Feb. 19
Fifteen students will have the opportunity to conduct marine research on the Chesapeake Bay during this 12-week program and receive a $7,200 stipend.
