UMBC Summer Course Abroad
Monteverde, Costa Rica

UMBC is offering a 3-credit summer course down to the Monteverde region of Costa Rica to explore the connections between cloud forest ecosystems, agriculture, water quality/availability, and climate change. This is an interdisciplinary course that allows students to explore three different types of fieldwork techniques, while also learning about all of these intersecting issues.  It runs May 29 - June 14, 2017.

Although advertised through UMBC, some spots can be made available for UMD- ENSP students (can perhaps be use as Restricted Elective credit - speak with your faculty advisor!)
